TONE MATCH PATCHES, CAPTURES, AND PROFILES OF OUR KORG ERA VOX AC30/6 TOP BOOST
For these presets, we have captured our Vox AC30/6 Top Boost (Korg era). The result is set of presets and captures that sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.
This is one of the sought-after ‘Korg Era’ AC30’s, made in England. Ours features an original Celestion Alnico Blue speaker as well as a vintage ’60’s Alnico Silver.
We’ve captured the amp with a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR25 through a stereo Neve 1073 preamp.
TONE MATCH (Gen 2) PATCHES (Applies to Line 6 and Fractal presets)
These are part of our ‘Tone Match’ line of patches. To create these patches, we make custom IR’s that ‘match’ the HX and Fractal amp models to our real-world amp. The result is the Line 6 and Fractal units sound almost exactly like our actual amplifiers.
The ‘Gen2’ indicates a new process we’ve used when Tone Matching our amplifiers that takes more of the amplifier’s cab and speaker into account, resulting in a more accurate tone match impulse response.

TONEX AMP CAPTURES
For Tonex we have captured the amp through its entire gain range for all available channels (Brilliant and Normal). The Amp Model Presets and Profiles are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 profile/capture.
QUAD CORTEX CAPTURES
For Quad Cortex, we have captured the amp through its entire gain range of the amp. The captures and are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 capture.

We’ve included separate presets for both single coil quipped and humbucker equipped guitars. You can use these presets in both Scene and Stomp mode, and they cover a ton of sonic territory.
HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?
The captures and presets are available for free in the Cortex Cloud app. You’ll need to create an account and follow ‘WorshipTutorials’ to access the presets and captures (go here to create an account and access the app).

FOOTSWITCH CONFIGURATION
We’ve programmed the switches on the Headrush Prime to act like a traditional pedalboard. You’ll see individual effects mapped to the different buttons and labeled appropriately. If you’d like to make changes, the process is simple – the Headrush Prime manual provides great documentation if you’d like to create scenes or other button mapping.
